A Doctor will probably refer you to a dietitian who will give you healthy food choices. Changing your eating habits isn’t a diet, it’s a lifetime change. Once you master the art of healthy eating you can have anything you want. The appeal for the fatty foods and fries won’t be there anymore. I can’t remember the last time I had a McDonald’s burger, and I don’t want one. I crave a hamburger and fries, yes, but I make my own burger and broil frozen fries…it’s way healthier and taste even better because you know you not clogging your arteries. You won’t be sorry you decided to see your Doctor…it’s a good move. There is also Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig, that’s what they teach you, healthy eating……Good Luck to you

A doctor is the ‘best person’ to go to when you want to lose weight, because your doctor ‘knows you’ and knows if you have any ’serious health issues’ … and your doctor probably ‘works with a good nutritionist’ who can help you find ‘the right diet’ to lose your weight and keep it off. It may ‘take longer’ this way, but you’ll be FAR BETTER OFF if you do go see your doctor and ‘follow his advice’ on your ‘weight problem.’

Some can give you suggestions for it, but I don’t think that they can literally give you something, but they can suggest good weight loss programs.
