Can anyone give me some suggestions for a name for a Diet. It is a quick weight loss diet over 5 days then step 2 is a longer term diet. So i need something like Loose it Now Keep it off Forever. Would like to have the words “lose” and “diet” in it somewhere. thanks.

I’ve been seriously working out ( cardio 3-4x week, weights 3x week) for the past 16 weeks. I’ve been watching what I eat, cutting out sugar and adding veggies. However I’ve only lost 1/2lb!!! I’ve lost 4 1/4 inches which is good but I expected much better results. I have been extra tired and felt “off” for awhile. Friends think the lack of weight loss is my thyroid. Could that be it or am I doing something wrong?

Im trying to loose alot of weight, im not overweight im just average but im not happy with my body.. i diet and exercise but i don’t see a change.. i’d like to try some weight loss pills with great effect.. does anyone reccomend certain pills they use/used and it worked?

I am 21, male, 175 lbs, endomorph body type, and having been living in the gym for the last 2 weeks! I know weight loss can be a long process (especially for an endomorph), but I want to lose weight before my next drill because of a weigh in, which will be in another 2 weeks.
I have been in the gym every day this year, and I run 30-40 minutes with around 160 heart rate, followed by a day where I slowly jog 25-30 minutes, 10 minutes stair steppers, and 15 minutes on a bike. I have alternated that way for the last 14 days. I also lift 3 days a week, 2 rounds of 10-20 reps of upper body exercises. I do these after I jog. I also drink a whey protein shake.
I’ve cut fast food and soda. This diet began Jan 1. I eat about 1700 calories a day, and I have recently started munching on carrots and grapes throughout the day and eating 6 small meals rather than 2 (I used to skip breakfast)
I have not seen any weight loss, any suggestions? When can I expect to see a drop off in weight?

I’m in 7th grade, 5 foot 4, I weigh 110. I am only consuming 1000 calories a day, jogging 1 and half hours constant, I’ve done it for one and a half weeks does it sound like a good weight loss plan?

At the moment im eating just over 1000 calories a day and i am walking 3 miles a day and i am 196 lbs and 5′11
When do you think i will start noticing my weight loss when i look in the mirror? & how long should it take me to drop a jean size?

I want to find a weight loss center that you can live at full time for a week, few weeks or month.
I’m looking for aspects of:
Nutritionist evaluation/developing a custom food plan.
No fad/unusual diets.
Education about nutrition
Psychological counceling/group therapy/support group to deal with the emotional side of eating.
Exercise components that can be tailored to an individual’s fitness level and/or physical limitations.
Meals are provided while there.
Chance to learn about meal preparation/studying nutrition labels to fit your diet
Reasonably priced - which would probably mean it isn’t taking place at a “spa” or “resort”.
An eating disorder treatment place might be able to meet most of these criteria, but I think a lot of them just take place as an add-on to a drug/alcohol rehab center.
So far the only places I’ve found that meet the criteria are Structure House and the Duke Diet and Fitness Center, both in Durham, North Carolina.
Anyone have any thoughts?
