This is kind of an odd question, but I had a cavity in a tooth when I was in my low teens and it was filled. The dentist said I’ll need to have my wisdom teeth pulled and a cap or root canal on the one that had the filling in the next couple years. Is it possible to pull the cavity tooth and allow the wisdom teeth to fill in there? Is there someone out there that knows? I know that you don’t have to pull the wisdom’s if you have room in your mouth, but can they be moved in to fill in for the teeth next to them?
What Eye Colors Can Result From A Blue-eyed Parent And A Hazel-eyed Parent Having Children?
Just a curiosity thing, since I haven’t heard anything on the inheritance of eye color when it comes to hazel eyes (the color which has both brown and green regions on the iris). I know that many genes are responsible for eye color, but overall, what is the inheritance pattern for hazel eyes, and what would a cross with blue eyes result in?
I have a 6 month old Shih Tzu and am starting to brush her teeth every night. Obviously this will help keep her teeth and gums healthy. However, it just doesn’t seem like I am getting her teeth too well. It seems like it would help her gumline more. Do you brush your dogs teeth? Does it really make a big difference in terms of having to get the teeth professionally cleaned? Thanks!
For some reason, I have TWO extra wisdom teeth. Along with that, one of my regualr wisdom teeth is growing in horizontally as opposed to vertically the way its supposed to. So in all, I have to get SIX teeth pulled. All my wisdom teeth and my two extras. I know its going to hurt afterward because last week I had to get some of my gums trimmed away from one of them and I’m STILL in pain. I just want to know HOW LONG the pain usually lasts and if there’s any rinses or natural remedies that are safe to use to ease the pain until I ‘ve recovered.
For several years, I have worn a hard plastic night guard on my top teeth for grinding while I sleep. I just went to a new dentist and he only makes soft plastic ones for bottom teeth. I want to know if one kind is better than the other and why?
My big concern is that a bottom one will push against my top teeth and cause them to shift since it will be an extra layer between my top and bottom teeth.
My son is 6 1/2, and lost all four of his front top teeth at various times, but all within a couple of months of each other. It is now about six months later, and I see no sign of the new ones coming in. Is this normal?
He’s my 3rd child, but I can’t remember how long the others took. Thanks!
I know many people get braces, sometimes to prevent infections and eating/heath difficulties.
And the wisdom tooth is commonly removed because it does not grow straight and may cause damange to the other teeth.
Why have humans evolved to have some people crooked teeth and other teeth alignment problems? (while some people have naturally straight teeth?)
What is it’s purpose, if any?
How long does it take, and how much lighter could it make my teeth?
If I am just starting to feel a little bit of the tip of a widom tooth coming in, how long will it be before the whole tooth is there. I’m wondering how much time I have before I need to get them out, if I can’t get them out until christmas break is that alright? My dentist said they would probably shift my teeth if I I didn’t get them out.
Ok, so I’ve lost just about all of my baby teeth, but the dentist said that I have only two left to lose. However, he didn’t tell me which ones are my adult teeth and which ones are my baby teeth. Now, a tooth is loose but I’m not sure if the tooth is permanent or baby. How do I tell which one it is?
My dog is about to turn two. She just had her teeth cleaned yesterday and she also had a broken tooth that the vet fixed. It was her canine tooth so he didnt want to pull it so he like grinded it down so it was smooth and didnt have any rough edges on it and he said it would be ok now. So I guess he knows best but when will she need to have her teeth cleaned again? Thanks
